Helix Integrated Benching

modular integrated benching system | clear design (2026)

THE PROBLEM: Stagnation in the integrated benching market

Since the introduction of integrated benching, the market has seen little meaningful innovation.

While the original formula proved successful and has been widely adopted across the industry, today's integrated benching systems remain remarkably similar in both form and function.

Over time, designs have become increasingly homogeneous, offering little visual differentiation or functional advancement, and leaving the market with few truly distinct options.

As a result, many products continue to share the same shortcomings...

lengthy, counter-ergonomic installation

complex cable installation & management

complicated sku & inventory management

Even with two experienced installers and power tools, most integrated benches in the market require at least 60 minutes to assemble. Installers must work with the bench upside down, navigate tight blind spots that restrict tool access, and fasten a total of 100+ screws. Beyond assembly, mounting power beams and organising power and data cables add further complexity—particularly in workstations supporting multiple electronic devices.

Beyond the installer experience, lengthy assembly has a direct financial impact. With high labour costs arising post-pandemic, reducing installation time therefore benefits not only installers, but also dealers, businesses, and end users alike.

In an industry that has remained largely unchanged for years, the opportunity for innovation lies not only in how a bench looks, but in how it is assembled, managed, and experienced.

We saw an opportunity to rethink what integrated benching could be.

Helix integrated benching

Helix is the next-generation integrated benching system that reimagines workplace efficiency through faster installation, simplified manufacturing, and greater design flexibility.

Built around a lightweight frame, Helix reduces installation time and streamlines inventory management. By sharing the same telescopic beam concept as Helm, it also provides users and installers with a familiar and consistent experience across both systems. Completing the design is a unique column sleeve system that offers greater colour customisation, allowing customers to better complement resimercial interiors while setting Helix apart from conventional integrated benching solutions.

From installation to everyday use, every detail has been engineered to deliver a smarter, more efficient workspace.
